Meet the Teacher Night

The school year is almost here!

All DVUSD campuses begin, online, on August 3rd. Please watch for information from your child’s teacher this week regarding class schedules and log in information for Zoom meeting and Canvas.

This Thursday, July 30th , at 5:30 pm is Meet the Teacher Night! This will be done virtually, so be sure to watch for more information on that.

How is everyone’s  SUMMER BREAK!? We sure do hope everyone is staying #healthy and #happy!

We recently had our transition meeting via Zoom and would love to update you on a few things. Our board members for this year are:

We had soooo much fun with Margaret and Nik this past year and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

We discussed our calendar of events and fundraisers this coming year. Unfortunately with current events, a lot of things will be subject to change, with very short notice. Please be sure to check in with us regularly.

We discussed a quarterly Mirage PTSA Newsletter to help keep everyone as informed as possible! So check for that in your email inbox soon!

We also discussed having to change our Family Engagement events to Virtual Bingo/Game/Movie Nights!


The start of IN PERSON learning has been delayed to August 17th, per Govenor Ducey. We will update you with any new information as we get it.

A message from our Adventure Dash Family


Back to school April 13th

As of now, our expected return to school will be Monday April 13th. In the meantime, we hope everyone is staying happy and healthy. We’ve posted some great online learning sites and field trips on our Facebook page! Check them out



Extended Spring Break

Governor Ducey announced that all schools in Arizona WILL BE CLOSED through March 27th, in an effort to control the possible spread of COVID-19.

We will be posting updates from the district as we get them and also some great websites to keep our kiddos entertained during this extended Spring Break.

Enjoy your time with your families and be kind to one another if you’re out and about.

Members Only Movie Night



We hope you can join us on Tuesday March 10th for our Members Only Movie Night! Event will be in the multi purpose room from 6-8pm. We will be showing the live action version of Aladdin and providing popcorn, cupcakes and beverages. You must be a member of Mirage PTSA to attend and we will have a brief general meeting at intermission.

Adventure DasH FUN RUN

The Adventure Dash coaches- Coach Potato and Coach Skittle have been on campus all week getting our kids hyped about fitness and about our FUN RUN on Friday!

We are OVERWHELMED by the support this fundraiser has received!

Mirage families are AMAAAAAAZING!

The Fun Run is on Friday Feb. 7th and parents are welcome! Students will DASH by grade level and the schedule is as follows:

8:15am-9am – 5th and 6th grade

9:15am-10am – 3rd and 4th grade

10:15am-11am – 1st and 2nd grade

11:15-12pm – Kindergarten

Family Bingo Night 1/14/20 5:30-7:30pm

Join us for some BINGO fun, prizes and pizza!

Event will be in the multi-purpose room at Mirage from 5:30-7:30pm! This is a fun, FREE event for our Mirage families.

We will be having a brief General Meeting to keep you up to date on all things Mirage PTSA has coming up!

Holiday Shop


‘Tis the season for our annual Holiday Shop!



Our shop will run from December 9th thru December 13th. Shop hours are 10:30 to 1pm(students only) and 2:35-4pm(all shoppers welcome) Monday-Friday. Friday is a 90m early release and we will be open for all shoppers from 1:15-4pm. Prices range from $.30-$11.25, with great gifts for all members of the family.


This is a great experience for the students, they learn to budget and the spirit of giving. We hope you’ll join us for one of our favorite events!

Fall Festival – Friday Nov. 1st

Our biggest and best event is this Friday!!!






We are so excited!!! Event is from 5-8pm…we’ll have food trucks, games, bouncers, slides, a train ride and so much more… please JOIN US!

Please take advantage of our PRESALE going on this week and avoid lines at the event…

We’ll be at the PTSA window after school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until 4pm. On Wednesday we’ll be there until  6pm!

We would still love some help at this event….if you’re interested in volunteering, please contact us ASAP.

Cookie Dough Order Pick Up


You guys are AMAZING! We sold over 1,079 items during our Cookie Dough Fundraiser! We can’t thank you enough for your support!

For those of you that sold 10 items or more, your kiddo earned the coveted GAME TRUCK prize. The game truck has yet to be scheduled, but usually takes place around the second week of November. All other prizes will be included with your order on Cookie Dough Order Pick Up Day.

Speaking of Cookie Dough Order Pick Up Day…..

All products will be delivered to us on Thursday October 10th and will be available for pick up from 2:35-6pm that day! Please, please, please make arrangements to pick up your orders that day.
