Box Tops Fundraiser runs the whole month of September…. Box Tops has gone digital! Just download the app and scan your receipt! It’s easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!
Our Fry’s Community Rewards program is in full swing and runs all year long! Be sure to ENROLL or RENEW asap.

Our COOKIE DOUGH fundraiser starts on August 29th! We are so excited for you to see our new brochure, there are so many amazing, new options to choose from! Orders and money will be due by September 16th and Parent Pick Up will be on October 10th from 2:30-6pm.

We approved our working BUDGET for the year, our BYLAWS and STANDING RULES, and went over our upcoming FUNDRAISERS and EVENTS!

Join us at the Back to School Bash TOMORROW from 10am-12pm! Students can get a backpack, school supplies, a dental check up and a haircut – all at no charge! We’ll be there too….. Be sure to stop by and help us get a jump start on our goal of 300 members strong!
Cost to become a member of Mirage PTSA is $6/person….. Anyone can become a member – students(8yrs+), parents, teachers, grandparents and neighbors!

Here is what we have going on
All 6 of our governing board members attended AZ State PTA convention this year! Lots of great information and ideas were shared.
Our transition meeting will take place in a few days. We will welcome Wil Johnson and Nik Martin to the Mirage PTSA board, and we will say goodbye to our dear Janine White who served 2 years as Vice President. But don’t worry, she’ll still be around as a volunteer!
Back to School Bash will be on Saturday 7/27 from 10am-12pm! We will be there, serving some food and talking membership goals. We hope to make it into the 300 club this year!
Meet the Teacher Night will be on Monday 8/5 from 5:30-6:30pm! We’ll have a table set up in the cafeteria, so be sure to drop by for some cookies and get some info on our awesome organization.
First Day of School is on Wednesday 8/7! Gates open at 7:45am and school starts at 8am!
We can’t wait to start the school year!

Our Election/General Meeting has been moved to Tuesday May14th. Join us at 6pm in the media center. You may only vote in this election if you became a Mirage PTSA member by March 2019. See you there!

PRESALE flyers went home last week. Please be sure to include that $5 fee or we will not reserve your game times. Mr. Lance will be at the PTSA window Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week from 2:35-4pm for additional presale sign up. Our first two game times are filling up fast so please consider a later game time and come eat some pizza first.
This event was a huge success last year and we can’t wait for this Sunday!! Event starts at 5:30 and ends at 8:30.
If any of our members or friends of members have some photography skills….WE NEED YOU! Please contact us ASAP for more information.

We snuck another General Meeting into one of our events again! We had our Member’s Only Spaghetti Dinner on March 14th, which was super fun. You can check out what was discussed by clicking on the General Meeting tab on our homepage.
Butter Braids were successfully delivered to all! Thanks again for your support! We’ve noticed a decrease in orders over the last few years, so if you have any suggestions for a new Spring Fundraiser, feel free to contact us via email at email@example.com
Our next big event will be our Father Daughter Sock Hop on Friday April 12th from 5:30-7;30pm in the Multi Purpose Room! Presale will be the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday prior to the event, at the PTSA window. Tickets will be $3 presale and $5 at the door.
Next we will have our Mother Son event at LASER QUEST AGAIN!! Last year was a huge success and we can’t wait for this year! The event will be on Sunday April 28th 5:30-8:30pm. More information coming soon!
Thank you to all of you for supporting our spring fundraisers. We got more Box Tops this year than we did last year! Mrs. Dwight’s first grade class brought in 992! That’s amazing!
We just submitted the Butter Braids orders, those will be delivered Thursday 3/14! Pick up will be available in the Music Rom from 2:35-6pm! Please remember to grab your orders as Spring Break is the following week and we won’t be able to get them to you!

Thank you to everyone that came out to play with us! This is our favorite event of the year, it’s totally free for our Mirage families to come eat pizza and play BINGO. We gave out a lot of great prizes, including some whole pizzas we had leftover and our I (Heart) Mirage PTSA t-shirts!

It’s time to turn in those Box Tops! Our Box Tops Drive runs the whole month of January and ends February 18th.
The class from Pre K – 3rd Grade and 4th – 6th Grade with the most Box Tops will earn an Ice Cream Party!
Second place will win a Cookie Party!

Winter Break was fun, but we’re excited to get 2019 started!
There’s a lot happening in the next month, so here’s a quick update:
January 7th – Box Tops Contest has begun! Send them in with your kiddos and their class could win an ice cream or cookie party!
January 22nd – Family Bingo Night! 5:30-7:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. PIZZA and beverages will be served!
January 24th – PTSA General Meeting! The school is hosting 2 sessions of Parent University until 6:45pm. We hope you’ll stick around for a quick PTSA meeting from 7-7:30pm…. get all caught up with us in 30 minutes or less!
February 6th – Whataburger Fundraiser! What’s better than NO SCHOOL on Wednesday? No cooking dinner on a Wednesday night! Head to Whataburger for dinner from 5pm-8pm!
